This gallery collects images of those mysterious, fantastic locations that don't seem to be part of the natural world: the strange and the beautiful, otherwise incapable of categorization. These are special parts of the Wild, where we humans are perhaps not meant to intrude. They are both wondrous and amazing in their forms, colors, and scope. I have walked in these places in awe, and I hope I have captured some of the amazement I have felt in their presence.
